Over 30 Students Attend “School Elections” Program Seminar

From April 3 to 5, a seminar was held as part of the “School Elections” program, gathering more than 30 high school students from several cities across Serbia.

Participants came from Zaječar, Bor, Kragujevac, Kučevo, Veliko Gradište, Knjaževac, Majdanpek, and Despotovac. During the three-day seminar, they worked on developing their campaigns for student parliaments.

Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, students had the opportunity to present their ideas, improve their campaigns, and receive feedback from trainers and peers. Special emphasis was placed on developing public speaking, argumentation, and communication skills, which are essential for active participation in school life and decision-making processes.

The seminar also provided a space for networking, experience sharing, and empowering young people to take a more active role in student parliaments and represent their peers.

The “School Elections” program aims to encourage youth participation in school decision-making by strengthening student parliaments, promoting democratic values, and supporting young people to actively contribute to improving their school environment.
