Open Call for Financial and Mentorship Support – “From Your EU View: Youth for Community, Voice for Europe”
Zaječar Initiative, in partnership with the Jelena Šantić Foundation, Pro.Tok21, the Center for the Development of Local Media, and the Center for Local Democracy, and with the support of the European Union, is announcing a public call for initiatives of civil society organizations and informal groups from Eastern Serbia.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants include civil society organizations and informal groups operating in the Danube, Braničevo, Bor, Zaječar, and Toplica districts. Special emphasis will be placed on projects that actively engage young people and encourage their participation in local processes.
Priority Themes
The program supports initiatives that strengthen citizens’ connection with European values and policies, particularly through:
- Rule of law and civic participation,
- Cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue,
- Gender equality and human rights protection,
- Environmental protection and climate action,
- Combating disinformation and strengthening media literacy.
Types of Support
Financial support will be awarded through two LOTs:
- LOT 1 – Support for public information campaigns (for CSOs and informal groups; €2,000–€5,000; duration 3–6 months)
- LOT 2 – Support for local advocacy projects (for registered CSOs with experience; €10,000–€15,000; duration 12–15 months)
In addition to financial support, selected participants will also receive mentorship and technical assistance during project implementation.

- Public presentation (pitch event): November 25, 2025
- Final results announced: November 30, 2025
